Character Name: Suika Ibuki
Canon Touhou Project
Personality: Suika is, for the most part, a very positive personality. She is friendly to most people, trying more often than not to get them to drink and party with her in some way or another. She's social and generally pretty easy to get along with, so long as the person isn't a habitual liar. Sometimes that friendliness can lead into cheekiness, however, for Suika is pretty darn good at picking out and picking apart flaws in other people; even those she's supposed to be friends with. After all, she did call Yukari's existence a lie, pointing out she knew more about the youkai than most other people probably know. In fact, that might be the greatest flaw of her personality; that she can be harshly critical of people, especially with character flaws she really deems undesirable. Lying is at the top of that list, as is being cowardly or weak; both things she has rather harshly judged others on before in canon.
Suika is an oni, and as has been said of oni in Touhou Canon, they really love nothing more than to drink and party. They tend to value strength above others, and are the most honest creatures in Touhou canon - it is said that oni never lie. Suika is, by all technicality, not outside the norm there, however, she is also known, as has been said in one of the endings, to be somewhat outcast from their society. The reason is pretty obvious: after all, when she was gathering people to party and drink during the events of the game she debuted in, she was technically manipulating them against their will and never did reveal herself as the culprit until the end. To that end, while she will not outright lie, perse, there is a bit of lacking in actually telling the truth. It's not lying, it's just not actually saying the truth, as it were. Most oni are known for attacking humans, either to eat them or take them away somewhere. Suika is a bit of an anomaly in that she doesn't and won't do it, herself. She'd rather drink and party and get along with the humans than kidnap and eat them.
Otherwise, Suika's a pretty simple individual. A bit of alcohol and good conversation is really all is needed to get in her good graces - in the ninth chapter of Wild and Horned Hermit she did attack the folks at the Myouren temple for, as she said 'not saying hello', so she doesn't tend to like being ignored. Or, perhaps because she is a Deva of the Mountain, one of the four strongest oni in the Touhou Universe, she feels it is her right to be greeted as such.
However, Suika, for all the strange flaws she may have, is really just a jolly personality. She loves to drink more than anything else, and seeing her sober is a rare sight indeed. Even she has stated that the last time she was sober was a tale from the distant past. The jolliness can almost seem childish at times, a bit aggressive and forceful, as befitting of the fact that, despite being rather old, she appears to be a young girl. She has been said to be one of the strongest youkai in Gensokyo and she knows it; she doesn't tend to abuse it... much, but she does know it, and doesn't suffer from any lack of confidence in herself or her abilities. Even when she loses.
History: This is the Wiki link on Suika. Being that she is a Touhou character, she doesn't have a whole lot of 'background', really. This is the background on oni, her species. Being one of the four most powerful oni, it's not a hard stretch to say that what used to be for the oni used to be for her as well.

Canon Point: Post WaHH chapter 9 where she basically made a cameo to pick on the Myouren folks; which is post Touhou 13: Ten Desires.
Abilities/Powers: Let's get the little ones out of the way first: Being a Touhou, she can fly. Being small, she's decently fast and agile at it. Also being a Touhou she has her Danmaku and Spell Cards, which are nonlethal magical bullets mostly used for sport. However, it's noted Oni are notoriously kind of bad with Danmaku, likely owing to how old and archaic their views tend to be. So they tend to be dense and difficult patterns to work with.
As an oni, Suika has great strength, able to easily pick up and toss large objects. She's not the physically strongest oni - that goes to Yuugi - but she is still ridiculously powerful in her own right as far as strength goes. She's an adept and useful fighter: she hits hard and can hit decently fast, but her range tends to suffer due to her smaller size. And also because she never seems to take any fights super seriously. It could get interesting if she ever did.
Finally, the actual part of Suika's power: Suika has the ability to manipulate density. Touhou Canon loves to be vague about the extent and limits of such powers, but she has been called one of the strongest youkai in Gensokyo, so there's a good chance she can put her money where her mouth is. So what kind of things can she do with density manipulation? Well, for starters she can make things so dense they become hot and molten - Superdense Conflagration is a spellcard that illustrates that point nicely. She can also do the opposite - disperse things out. In order to achieve her ends in Immaterial and Missing power, she lowers her own physical density so much she becomes a mist and disperses across the land. There's a spellcard she does that, as well.
Her power isn't limited to physical things, either. In order to get everyone together to keep partying night after night, she gathered the people together - or, as the game said 'gathered sentiments' to get them all together to party. Aya also once asked if Suika could 'gather some news' for her, and Suika seemed confident she could do it easily.
As said, the limits of the power are hard to define. Especially so when you find out her ultimate spellcard in Immaterial and Missing Power is to literally create a black hole. It is also said that the more drunk she gets, the more powerful she gets. She most certainly seems to show it as well - if she gets drunk enough her form changes and she becomes gigantic. She's stated she could easily tear down the Youkai Mountain with her bare hands and little effort.
She also shattered the moon in a single punch.
It was an illusion of the moon, technically, but she still broke the sky with one punch.
Intended Guild: The Hounds! She fights because it's fun and because she's good at it, rather than for any noble causes or anything, and drunken brawls are pretty much what she's made for. She values strength and integrity above a lot of things, as oni tend to, and overall I think she would just fit in wonderfully.
Notes/Other Info: Suika's got her Ibuki Gourd - an oni treasure that has the extract of a Wine Worm in it. This extract of wine worm allows the Gourd to produce an unlimited quantity of rather potent alcohol. She always carries it, because she always needs to be drunk.
